Training Review - Weeks 41 & 42
A strange fortnight. I managed to collect a lot of bike and run miles the first week, and did 3 swim sessions, even if they were each slightly shorter than I wanted. Add to that two fast runs at the Fetternear Sunlit Shadow series and Stonehaven Parkrun and it was a solid week to start my off-season. Then the second week life decided to intervene. I got a mild cold, that I could probably have worked around, but we then had to come to Blairgowrie for the week as Lornas mother's condition deteriorated rapidly and unfortunately she passed away at the weekend.
